Since 2014, he has devoted a significant part of his time, as a life mission, to researching, uncovering, and documenting the remarkable phenomenon of Jews who saved fellow Jews during the Holocaust, within both Jewish and general history. As part of this documentation project, he identified 2,731 rescuers and wrote 34 books on the subject. He uncovered rescue activities in 36 countries and documented more than 50 methods of rescue. He established a dedicated website, co produced a film for community television with a partner, and produced seven additional films focusing on different countries and topics, all of which can be viewed on the website. In addition, he lectures on the subject to diverse audiences.

In 2018, he established the Action Committee for the Legal Recognition of Jews Who Saved Jews During the Holocaust.
